9.5. I tried to collect a list of didactic challenges that teachers face when taking eLearning and educational ICT into use in their teaching and learning prcesses. This collection is based on the results of a survey made in the project
Bridging Insula Europae.
- the attitudes to educational ICT and to eLearning are positive
- eLearning is integrated in a really functional way into curricula
- project-based eLearning is implemented in teaching and learning processes
- the command of the use of eLearning is assessed and appreciated in exams
- there is enough time for training educational ICT and eLearning
- female teachers have enough time for changing into eLearning in spite of their double work load at school and at home
- teachers get active support and guidance of eLearning from the school management
- there is systematic promotion and development of educational ICT and eLearning
- there is a critical mass of teachers in schools to put eLearning into effect
- international dimension is implemented in schools by means of eLearning
- there is more interaction between schools and homes thanks to educational ICT
- authorities and school maintainers know how to promote teachers in matters of educational ICT and eLearning
- teachers know how to use multimedia applications of WWW
- teachers have enough time and experience to develop materials on their own
- adequate materials are put at disposal by the publishing houses
- there is enough time for eLearning during classes
